How to generate UAN online
- You need to visit Unified Member Portal https://unifiedportalmem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
- Click on “UAN allotment” link which is on the left side of the homepage
- User has to enter his/ her Aadhaar number and click button “Generate OTP”. An OTP will be sent to his/her registered mobile number.
- After entering OTP you need to click on submit button
- Basic details will be available on the screen; you can click on the register button and enter captcha.
- UAN will be generated and will be displayed message is sent to user.
How to make corrections
If you have done any mistakes while applying for UAN number then EPFO will help you to correct your details such as spelling of your name, date of birth and gender. If wrong details are given by employer and did not match with Aadhaar then you can correct the details as per Aadhaar details.
Finally, UAN number helps you to link many multiple member ids allotted by single employee under a single number. By taking the help of EPFO new facility person who does not have an UAN number can generate the UAN and submit to the employer.
